Sophie Thatcher is an American actress who made her film debut in the 2015 short film Growing Strong. She has since appeared in the 2018 American science fiction feature length film Prospect followed by The Tomorrow Man (2019). Thatcher attended Nichols Middle School in Evanston, Illinois. She grew up singing and started acting when she was 4 years old. She went to a performing arts school for musical theater, and her on-camera experience led her to pursue acting more than singing. Thatcher's work on stage includes productions of Oliver, Seussical, The Diary of Anne Frank, and The Secret Garden.
