Talitha Bateman (born September 4, 2001 in Turlock, California, U.S.) is an American actress, best known for playing the leading role as Janice in Annabelle: Creation, Teacup in The 5th Wave, and Heidi in So B. It. She also played Kayla in the film The Hive and Scarlett Kincaid in the series Hart of Dixie. She is the eighth of nine children, and the sister of actor Gabriel Bateman. In 2014, Bateman played a significant role of Kayla in the science fiction horror film The Hive along with Gabriel Basso, Kathryn Prescott, and Jacob Zachar. In 2015, Bateman played the recurring role of Scarlett Kincaid in the 4th season of The CW's comedy-drama series Hart of Dixie. The film is directed by David Yarovesky and had a premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 19, 2014. Bateman played a leading role, Janice, in the 2017 horror prequel Annabelle: Creation.
