Madison Nicole Brydges, born March 2004 in Canada, is a two time award winning actress who started performing onstage at the early age of 2. Beginning as a very young ballerina, Madison had a love for the stage and with a strong desire to act, had an agent by the time she was 6. Madison started her career in commercials, mainly Polly Pocket and Nissan along with various print advertisements. Since then she has played leading and supporting roles with her most recent film, Flatliners, directed by Niels Oplev and starring many distinguished actors and actresses such as Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, Kiersey Clemons, and Kiefer Sutherland. This film is set to hit theatres in September, 2017. Her credits include Flatliners (2017 ), Love You Like Christmas (2016), ROPEd (2016), Nayan and the Evil Eye (2014), Close Encounters (2013) and Numbers (2012). Madison's award winning performance in Love You Like Christmas gained her the 2017 Young Entertainers Award for Best Supporting Young Actress in a TV Movie, Mini Series or Special and the 2017 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie or Special.
Madison's theatre career encompasses independent and professional productions in Toronto and Niagara Falls, beginning with Peter Pan (Scotiabank Theatre, 2010) and Numbers (Toronto Fringe Festival, 2012). Her lead role in Numbers earned Madison her first Young Artist Awards Nomination for Best Performance in Live Theatre by a Young Actress. Madison's television experience includes a lead role in the Discovery Channel SciFi, Close Encounters directed by Annie Bradley and was also portrayed in the PSA, Do Disturb. Madison is a multi award winning dancer in both Canada and the USA. Madison started her dancing career at the early age of two and has gone on to receive numerous accolades in the dance industry. In addition to multiple awards and scholarships, her talent has taken her to Disneyworld's Christmas Spectacular (featured dancer) in Orlando Florida, Disney's The Lion King (Opening Number/featured dancer) in New York City, Disney's Summer Stage Show (featured dancer) Disneyland, USA and Disneyland's Showtime (featured dancer) at Hollywood Studios, CA. Madison attended the Canada National Ballet for 3 years and was also one of their featured dancers in their annual production of The Nutcracker. Madison is a very dedicated and hardworking individual. With her extremely busy lifestyle, she keeps on a strict schedule with her academic studies, including working with her dancing and acting coaches. She has a very demanding and comprehensive dance training schedule with an incredible team of dedicated coaches who train her to be the best performer she can be. Madison is fortunate enough to be enrolled in a dance studio and elementary school where she has supportive teachers and coaches who are committed to helping her achieve her acting, dancing and academic goals. Madison is a very active individual and loves the outdoors. She has a love for animals, riding horses being her passion. Madison has been an avid rider since she was 7, riding both Western and English styles.
