Emma Kenney (born September 14, 1999) is an American actress known for her roles in Epic (2013), Shameless (2011–present), and Bittersweet (2008). Kenney was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey by parents Gillian and Kevin Kenney. She started acting at age five alongside with her best friend Ciera Gill, with an interest in improvisation. She appeared in an advertisement for Scholastic Books and had several commercial and voiceover roles. She was discovered by her manager at age eight. Kenney has directed a short film titled "The New Girl In Town," which was a finalist at the 2009 New Jersey International Festival.
